Prospects Update: Nylander Named Forward of the Month for April

NYLANDER NAMED PACIFIC4 SPORTS FORWARD OF THE MONTH

CALGARY, AB – Future Considerations Hockey today announced William Nylander as thePacific4 Sports Management draft eligible forward of the month for April.

Nylander had an explosive showing at the IIHF World Under-18 Championship, leading the team in scoring with 10 assists and 16 points while recording a plus-8 rating in just seven games to help Sweden to a fourth-place finish. He was named the tournament’s top forward as selected by the directorate and named one of the team’s best players as selected by the coaching staff.

He is currently fourth overall in Future Considerations’ May ranking for the 2014 NHL Draft.

Also considered for the award was Robby Fabbri of the Guelph Storm. In 10 playoff games in April, Fabbri recorded nine goals and 17 points to help the Storm to the Wayne Gretzky Trophy as Western Conference champions.
