Molson Canadian Scores Five-Year Deal as Official Beer Sponsor of the Montreal Canadiens
Deal will see the premium lager as official beer sponsor until 2020
MONTREAL, QC (September, 23 2015) – The Montreal Canadiens aren’t the only ones making their seasonal debut this week; Molson Canadian will be making its very own debut at the Bell Centre as official beer sponsor – a deal which will see the premium lager as the team’s official brew through to 2020.
Starting today, Molson Canadian will be the preferred beer at the Bell Centre, with the brand executing a series of activations throughout the season for fans, including the Molson Canadian Fan Zone located in the 300 level. Meanwhile, starting October 1, fans will be able to purchase a limited edition 473ml Montreal Canadiens beer can available at the Bell Centre, in select bars and restaurants, and in local retail stores while supplies last.
“Molson Canadian is a brand synonymous with passionate hockey fans and this partnership with one of the sport’s finest, most passionate fan bases, solidifies that,” said Andy Gervais, senior marketing manager, Molson Canadian. “We look forward to raising a glass alongside the nearly 22,000 dedicated fans who attend each game.”
In celebration of the partnership, Molson Canadian is launching a contest today for passionate Montreal Canadiens fans for the chance to win two premium tickets to the October 15 regular season home opener against the New York Rangers, alongside a VIP experience only Molson Canadian and the Montreal Canadiens could deliver.
For a chance to win, hockey fans must tell Molson Canadian what they do for the Montreal Canadiens using the hashtags #fouduhockey and #goHabsgo on either Molson Canadian’s Facebook page (MolsonCanadian) or on Twitter (@Molson_Canadian).
